This template will help you find out the highly efficient high-value Google keywords and give you an approximate budget if you plan to target them through ads.

Google ads keyword efficiency matrix and budget calculator for high-value search keywords and its implications for your business

High-value search keywords are those that are highly relevant and focused on high buyer intent, and your website is already ranking within the top 12-80 in organic search for them.

Reasons for targeting them: Since you already rank well for them on search, it means your web pages are optimized for the keyword, which will, in turn, boost the search ad quality and improve the chances of it being shown more frequently to users, even at lower bids.

This template will help you find out the highly efficient high-value keywords and give you an approximate budget if you plan to target them.

Steps to follow while using the template:

1. Page: Provide the page name/URL that is ranking well for the primary keyword as per the Google Search Console report

2. Primary Keyword: Provide the primary keyword which we are analyzing here

3. Secondary Keyword Group: List of secondary and associated keywords that can be grouped together with the primary one.

4. Current SEO Ranking: Provide the search ranking of your webpage for the primary keyword (Get the data from Google Search Console)

5. Keyword Importance: Provide a value between (1- Very High, 2-High 3- Medium, 4-Low) based on your relevance rating for the primary keyword.

6. Average Searches per month: Provide the average searches per month for the primary keyword (as per the mid-value data from Google’s Keyword Planner).

7. Average Clicks (non-editable): This field calculates an estimated number of clicks the ad can generate based on your avg. CTR value provided earlier.

8. Suggested lowest CPC bid: Provide the suggested lowest CPC bid for the primary keyword as per Google Keyword Planner.

9. Keyword Effectiveness Score for Ads (KESA): This cell is populated with the Keyword efficiency rating (Select the top 5 keywords with high KESA values for your ads).

10. Prioritize for ads: Provide one if you want to use the keyword for the Google ad campaign; this will help you get an estimated monthly budget for the selected keywords

11. Expected monthly cost (non-editable): This will be populated with an estimated monthly cost for the keyword-related campaign.
